Less Than One Month!
Well, pardner, in less than one measly little month, I'll be ridin' outta here and I'll get to size you up face to face!
That's right! September 28 is THE BIG DAY and, far as I'm concerned, it won't be a minute too soon! You see, it's gettin' kinda cramped in here (see photo below). And I KNOW Mommy's tired of lugging me around all day(especially with my heel in her round ligament)!
We went to the doctor on Monday and I listened to him talk with Mommy (you know, by putting my ear up to the wall).
Mommy told Doc she's plumb tuckered out by the time she finishes her shower. Ole Doc had an answer for that one: take baths instead! (That Doc sure is a smart cookie!)
Then, Mommy told Doc she's worn to a frazzle by the time she gets home from church. That ole Doc had a solution ready for that one, too. He said, "Don't go to church...watch it on TV!"
Finally, Mommy asked Doc how early he could in-duce her to get me out of here ahead of schedule. Doc said, "Nothin' doin," says he, "I don't do that with first-time Mommies." So, it looks like I'm in here for the long term!
Mommy says she's getting bored staying home all day. She's read every book in the place, watched every movie ever made and knows all the words to all of the Seinfeld episodes by heart!
If you have any ideas on how she can find something interesting to do, leave her a comment here on my blogsite.
Daddy's working hard these days, keeping the lawns and gardens at the Seminary in top shape. I know he'll be glad when the weather cools off a bit, though!
Before you go, don't forget to check out the other photos below. My personal favorite is my crib. Did you know my DADDY was raised in that crib? Did you also know that HIS DADDY was raised in that crib? I can't wait to try it out!
Happy trails 'til we meet again!
Love,
Abbey
